I've been where you are.
I'm a mom, and when I was breastfeeding my own baby, I didn't have the guidance I needed.
I was misinformed. The people around me loved me, but they passed down beliefs that turned out to be myths. I wanted to breastfeed longer than I did. Without real information, support, or reassurance, I stopped before I was ready.
In 2018, I started Milking Mommas so other moms wouldn't have to feel that alone.
From one mom to a community of thousands
What began as one mom wishing she'd had better support has grown into a community of 52,000+ moms. They come here for honest, judgment-free help with breastfeeding, pumping, and early motherhood, plus plenty of laughs about the moments nobody warns you about.
This is the place I wish I'd had. It tells you the truth, calms the panic, and reminds you that you're doing better than you think.
Why we opened this shop
After years of talking with moms every day, one thing kept coming up. Along with support, you want things that make daily life easier and help you feel like yourself again.
Maternity clothes that are comfortable at work, at home, and at 3 a.m. Pieces that make you feel beautiful for your bump photos and milestone moments. Pumping and nursing essentials that come with you through busy days on the go.
So we built a shop around the same promise as our community: thoughtfully chosen, easy to love, and made for real motherhood.
What we believe
Every mom deserves to feel comfortable in her body, in her choices, and in the season she's in right now.
We believe the right information at the right moment can change a mom's whole experience. We believe well-meaning pressure and myths end too many feeding journeys early. And we believe every mom should make her own choices feeling informed and supported.
How we work
I'm not a doctor or a lactation consultant, and I'll never pretend to be.
Everything we share is grounded in guidance from trusted organizations like the CDC, AAP, WHO, and the Academy of Breastfeeding Medicine. We're always clear about when something is just a helpful tip and when it's time to call your doctor, pediatrician, or an IBCLC.
In the shop, we're just as honest. We tell you when a style runs small, when a gown is sheer and should be layered, and exactly what to expect before you order. No surprises, no overpromising.
